4.1 Analyst: /Microbiologist: The Analyst/microbiologist is responsible for Execution of the procedure specified in this document.
4.2 Head Quality Control /designee: The Head Quality control is responsible for Ensuring that, the procedure followed for Spinix vortex mixer as specified in this document.
5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Cleaning:
5.1.1 Check and ensure that the equipment is clean and suitable for starting the operation. If it is not, then clean with a lint free cloth dipped in disinfectant.
5.2 Basic Operation:
5.2.1 Switch ON the main power supply.
5.2.2 Two mode to operate: “constant on” to keep the vortexing action throughout. “Touch on” To make a vortex when the rubber grip press.
5.2.3 Turn the knob clockwise to start the rotation on the rubber rotator and place the sample test tube firmly on the rubber rotator to effect vortexing of the sample or just hold the sample test tube firmly on the rubber rotator to effect vortexing of the sample in “Constant on mode”.
5.2.4 To increase/ decrease the vortexing speed turns the speed control knob clockwise/ anticlockwise.
5.2.5 After completion switch OFF the power supply.
