4.1 Production/Packing operator is responsible to follow SOP.
4.2 Production/packing officer / executive is responsible for execution of the procedure.
4.3 Head — Production is responsible to ensure compliance of the procedure.
5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Precaution:
5.1.1 Use dedicated brushes for product.
5.1.2 Discard the brushes whenever any damage is observed or the bristles are giving away.
5.2 Pre-checks:
5.2.1 Ensure brush used is clean and dry.
5.2.2 Check the intactness of the bristles before use.
5.3 Usage and cleaning:
5.3.1 Before starting the process for a particular product, take the new brushes.
5.3.2 After completion of every batch wash the brush with decontamination solution as per SOP followed by sufficient potable water.
5.3.3 Finally rinse with sufficient quantity of purified water.
5.3.4 Dry the cleaned brush with 0.2µ filtered compressed air after completion of wash.
5.4 Post cleaning checks:
5.4.1 Ensure the intactness of the bristles after cleaning.
5.4.2 Store the cleaned brush in clean polybag with duly signed ’CLEANED’ label.
