4.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
4.1 Quality control (QC) Chemist shall be responsible to Operation, cleaning and calibration of Digital Stop Watch.
4.2 Head-Quality Control or his designee to ensure compliance.
5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Operating Instructions:
5.1.1 Ensure that the instrument is clean.
5.1.2 Ensure that batteries are placed in the instrument.
5.1.3 By using “MODE” button select the ‘Stop watch Function’.
5.1.4 Press ‘START/STOP’ button to start the stop watch.
5.1.5 After completion of desired time stop the stop watch by pressing ‘START/STOP’ button to stop the stop watch.
5.1.6 Note down the reading on the display.
5.1.7 The display show Hours, Minutes and Seconds.
5.1.8 To reset the stop watch to zero press ’SPLIT/RESET’ button.
5.1.9 Precautions:
5.1.9.1 Ensure that the stop watch should be reset to zero before changing from stop watch mode to any other mode.
5.1.9.2 Never press the mode button when the stop watch is running.
5.2 Calibration Procedure:
5.2.1 Calibration of the ’Digital Stop Watch’ will be done through external agency from calibration Service Laboratory.
5.2.2 Frequency of calibration: Once in 365 days (-15 days) and after each major Maintenance job.
